The linux packages come with cross compile support for X86_32 by default. This feature is rarely needed but creates a package dependency on a complete gcc multiarch toolchain. It makes these packages annoying to use for continuous integration systems like travis-ci where you have to install dmd before every test run. I think we should offer the 64/32 cross compiler dmd as separate package on dlang.org/downloads.
