The adjustment for daylight savings time (in date.d) is redundant ~ the function 'localtime' already adjusts tm_gmtoff to account for it. The result is the conversion functions (UTC to/from Local time), and the various toString functions are off by an hour. Mac OS X 10.4, US/Pacific
