What I dislike most about the forums on small browser windows (I don't actually have a mobile device so I just resize a standard desktop browser) is that the font size actually shrinks, like some responsive idea that went horribly wrong. That makes it incredibly difficult to use. The disappearing sidebar is actually nice there though. What bothers me on dlang.org is the Twitter sidebar should just disappear when there isn't room for it. The nav sidebar might disappear too... though it is legitimately useful. One idea would be to have it re-appear upon a click, either a link or a javascript thingy (attached to the big D logo i think would be ok, that's where I tend to click to go back home to navigate anyway) so it is accessible on demand.

Here's a starting point I slapped together: https://github.com/D-Programming-Language/dlang.org/pull/779
