DMD should always emit dwarf debug info. And on windows, even on win32, the default object format should be coff. We are in 2016.

Thanks for the report. However I'll close as there's nothing to fix here. - DWARF is emitted on request: http://dlang.org/dmd-linux.html#switch-g - MS-Coff is the default format for Windows: http://dlang.org/dmd-windows.html#switch-m64 - I checked my clock, and yes it does indeed seem we are in 2016, I've made a note in-case any problem occurs.
