As @JackStouffer pointed out, according to @CyberShadow's http://digger.k3.1azy.net/trend/ this caused a 85KiB increase in the hello world binary. https://github.com/dlang/dmd/pull/5324 I just put this here, s.t. you don't forget about it ;-)

The problem is that writeln throws, so if I am reading Walter's comment correctly, then this increase is a systemic part of of DwarfEH. This could also be a dup of https://issues.dlang.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14053
