According to http://forum.dlang.org/post/[email protected] and http://forum.dlang.org/post/[email protected] DMD suffered anywhere between a 47% to 360% increase in compile times. My largest project actually saw a decrease in compile times, so we have to solicit the community for examples.

The OP hasn't well noted that's only the **debug** build which is affected.

I think we fixed a major performance issue with https://github.com/dlang/dmd/pull/6024 but that problem never made it to any release.

Any example project to reproduce the issue?

(In reply to Martin Nowak from comment #3) > Any example project to reproduce the issue? You can try to reach out to the people in the linked news group threads

I heard back that the problem was no longer reproducible with their latest codebase and the latest dmd compiler, though it's a bit unclear what fixed it, but the old state can't be easily tested any longer.

I'll just close this then
