While not very common as lowerThan and easy to do it on ones own, the existence of lessThan, greaterThan, equalTo nearly begs the question on why lte (or lessOrEqual) and gte (or greaterOrEqual) and (notEqualsTo) aren't on the list - especially because the underlying, private implementation `safeOp` supports them.
