Reproduced with DMD 2.087 installer. On fresh Windows installation, install DMD, then while installing, select "Install MSBuild only" option. Let MSBuild install. After everything finishes, create a new project with 'dub init' and try to 'dub run' it. The project will compile, but crash because of missing MSVCR100.dll. Installing MVSVC++ 2010 Redist packages solves the problem, but I believe this should be handled by the installer for a better out of the box experience.
