We have been experiencing some issues with regards to the codecov uploader. These issues have been encountered by others too https://community.codecov.com/t/commit-sha-does-not-match-circle-build/4266/2 . Once codecov fix their problems with the uploader, we can re-enable the codecov test: https://github.com/dlang/dmd/pull/15128/files#diff-42b2b78772cbe143c16fbd219569bdad1642865f926da5acb1f1f3994d7e7e5aR212 An alternative workaround worth trying is to pass the CODECOV_TOKEN to the uploader as specified in the first link.
