Error: cannot implicitly convert expression (new A) of type hello.A to A v.s. the corresponding immutable error: Error: cannot implicitly convert expression (new A) of type hello.A to immutable(A) Test case: class A {} void foo( shared A y ) {} void main() { foo(new A()); } P.S. D 2.026 isn't available yet as an option in bugzilla.
