If the obj's name is like this *.d.obj, it can't be recognized by the Optlink under Windows XP. Here are the steps: Z:\testd>dmd -c test.d -ofobj\test.d.obj Z:\testd>dmd obj\test.d.obj -ofbin\test.exe OPTLINK (R) for Win32 Release 8.00.1 Copyright (C) Digital Mars 1989-2004 All rights reserved. obj\test.d Error 2: File Not Found obj\test.d --- errorlevel 1 Z:\testd>
