This is a tracker for back-end code generation bugs. Inline asm bugs are specifically not included; nor are possible performance improvements. All bugs listed here must be tagged as wrong-code. Note that the majority of these bugs will also apply to DMC, and to D1 as well as D2.

With the fixing of 4443, this tracker bug is of no further use. Backend bugs are now down to a manageable level. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of issue 4443 ***
