Recent versions of GNU C Library have execvpe() implemented, so std/process.d should be updated to reflex this in POSIX systems by allowing D to use the system's own implementation.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see how this bug can be a blocker. Is std.process not working for you? If so, it would be great if you could provide a test case. Until then, I'm marking this as an enhancement request.

OK, closing then. The lack of any configure script makes it impossible to *probe* the system that phobos is being built on anyways...
