This is both undocumented and nonworking, but three years ago Walter claimed it was a compiler bug: http://www.digitalmars.com/d/archives/16022.html So if that was the intended behaviour, it's still a compiler bug. Feel free to close the bug if Walter has changed his mind.

AISI, any attribute in a given context should either work or not be allowed. It would be silly if Walter's decided otherwise.
