This would be a useful ability for RDMD. I've described one need for it in the discussion for issue 6622.

rdmd has the following option: --compiler=comp use the specified compiler (e.g. gdmd) instead of dmd it actually works... so long the specified comp is valid. If not it uses the default dmd instead of complaining (that's a bug) (In reply to comment #0) > This would be a useful ability for RDMD.
