class a {} class b : .a {} void main () {} Compiler says: prog.d(): base classes expected instead of . prog.d(): members expected .... According to the http://www.digitalmars.com/d/2.0/module.html , Module Scope Operator section I see no reason why this is not valid.

This was fixed in 2.061.
