http://dlang.org/interfaceToC.html says "D does not support bit fields. If needed, they can be emulated with shift and mask operations. htod will convert bit fields to inline functions that do the right shift and masks." This should be changed to mention std.bitmanip.bitfields, possibly with some examples.
